Taking Care of My Egg
Today in class we learned about taking care of
an egg. We each got to make a nest for the egg to protect it. We put the nest
into a cup. Then we each got an egg and an egg blanket to help keep the egg
warm. We had to take care of it through the day.
We had to turn the egg over
and record the time again and again. It helped us practice how to tell time. We
also had to check to make sure the egg was safe and warm. Some peoples eggs
cracked and some stayed safe. At the end of the day we measured the egg. We got
to see how much area and volume the egg took up.
This was as “egg-citing”
experiment and we learned a lot about taking care of an egg. Now we cannot wait
for our eggs to hatch!
